Angie West is an author, media personality, and a former resident religious reporter for Chicago Voice Newspapers. Her mission is to consistently bridge the gap between Black people from all over the world. Angie has had the opportunity to interview presidents from other countries as well as kings, actors, and political educators. A recipient of several awards such as the “Women as Bridge Builders’ Award” from the United Nations’ Women’s Federation for World Peace, a congressional “Outstanding Teacher’s Award," & a “Community Bridge Builders’ Award.” Angie has not given up on bringing people’s pains into God’s Purpose. An avid believer in God, she continues her mission of fusing faith & Black empowerment for the sole purpose of building solid supportive communities.
